Leeks, Boiled Ham and Peas in Vegetable Broth

This is one for the British Leek Growers Association  http://www.british-leeks.co.uk who are trying to make British leeks top again. 🙂

500ml Vegetable stock

Handful of Boiled Ham/Gammon, leftovers work well

Peas and sliced leeks

Dash of white win


Heat stock in a pan then add the leeks, peas and cooked ham to the pot, little white wine works well too, season to taste and heat till piping hot. Amazing for lunch or main dinner as quite filling , full leek taste and very flavourful. Served with a roll for mopping up. 🙂 perfect.
